Dave & Heather's wedding

Don't fall off your chair... Yes, we're still alive here! I've always been meaning to keep blogging; so sorry about the break there, but things have been really busy at our house. We're almost finished the house we've been renovating, so hopefully we'll have our lives back now :).

Dave and Heather's wedding was beautiful!

Emily and Laura were guest-book attendants.

Steve's mom and grandma.

Josh was the best man, and the three groomsmen were Steve, Steve and Steve :)

No peck on the cheek here...

Ashley was the MC.

Chris and Shalom's kids sang and recited two Psalms. They did a good job!

I couldn't resist putting this one in here just because I love Jenna's chubby little legs :)

The cake/candy table was a dream come true for little kids... kind of like a candy factory or something. Heather stationed two little guards, er... "attendants" there throughout the reception :)

I'm actually surprised how easy Dave went on Heather and Haley with the cake... I thought he would be more of a rascal ;)
Pastor and Mrs. Rutgers

I'm not into the garter thing (it's kind of weird when you think about it... why would anyone but the husband want the bride's garter?) but here's pictures anyway.

Emily and friends...

Here's our attempt at a family picture. Steve wanted to sit down so I don't think the arrangement looks very good.

Back to Great Wolf Lodge!

The kids aren't tired of it yet! We get a half-off discount through our homeschool group, and one room sleeps all of us, so it's a really good deal.

Jenna took a long nap in the water. She feels pretty secure!

On our way home we stopped at Cabella's... what a neat place! It's a sporting goods store with a huge mountain full of stuffed animals and a waterfall in the middle of the store, an aquarium underneath the mountain, fish on the walls, a restaurant, a "shooting range" and more.
