A dark and rainy Sunday

First week of school

Hopefully these smiles last the whole year :) Joel is starting kindergarten and wakes me up early, anxious to start... and then when he's finished for the day he gets very upset.

Em's putting on a cheerful face even though she's sad she can't do school with her cousins this year. Holly is great for cheering them up.


Good friends (it's amazing they get along so well considering they both love to pester each other) Aaaaw... sibling affection :)

I guess Holly thought maybe the guy in armor was hungry?! Here she's feeding him erasers. Tried quite a few times and finally got one stuck in there.

At the risk of posting too many pictures of Holly, I just couldn't resist these... one of the latest trinkets (that's what they call the little stuff they give employees at Steve's workplace) was a big exercise ball. In spite of being annoying to trip over all over the house, Steve & the kids love that thing. And like any baby, Holly loves to copy... she was remarkably balanced with her little ball!

Lego fun... lately though the kids spend more time searching for their favorite pieces and piling them up instead of building things. We have quite a few neat pieces since I got a family's big collection at a garage sale.

I guess they taste good too
